Virtual Organization

Just a question of curiosity.

Does the state or appearance of your computer desktop reflect the state and appearance of your room or living area?

I mean in messiness or order. I don't mean that if you happen to have rainbows on your desktop wallpaper, there are unicorns and fairies prancing through your room.

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.usThe most icons that I ever keep on my desktop, for example, don't usually reach more than... a few files that just need a very temporary spot for a few days while I use them. Usually not more than around three at a time. The Windows defaults -- My Computer, Recycling Bin, etc. -- are not even present (I keep them in my Start menu list). When I am through with them, they are filed away or deleted accordingly.

And incidentally, I have the tendency to keep my room very clean, uncluttered and minimal as possible for whatever stuff there is. Some friends even tell me about how bare my room feels compared to theirs (especially with posters or decorations or sundry other clutter around).

But I don't always get to see both someone's room and their computer desktop, so I decided just to ask around.

True true...
Dozens of icons i dont have time to sort, a guy jumping of a cliff as the wallpaper and lots of randoms stuff beyond the screen. Agreed. Totally reflects ones personality.
