Simple Things #271

I like going to get-together party events where everyone hand-writes their own sticky name tag to put on their shirt. The way you write your own name says something about you, how you present yourself to others, and how you see yourself as well, however minor it may be through a simple name tag.

It's interesting to look at all of the very different people and all of their very different name tags.

I agree!

(mine always has at least one of the following: exclamation point, smiley face, heart, flower)

So cute and so you, Leia ;) . Hm... but what would really intrigue me is putting an exclamation mark after my name. That has never occurred to me. After all, the fact of the matter is that it's a punctuation mark, and invariably associated -- in very very many languages, no less -- with a very specific style of expression. It causes people to react! Hmmmm..... =)

hehe :)

And I meant to add this before, but I also like what someone's handwriting can tell about themselves. I like your handwriting; it's very you.

The study of personality and behavior through handwriting is called graphology. Some people are skeptical about it, but I believe it completely. I've been studying graphology off and on for at least a couple of years now. Maybe some time I will sit down and explain a gazillion things about it to you =) . Graphology is terribly fascinating, and virtually endless.
