In Perspective

Stand in an open space. Stare straight ahead. Stretch your arms forward. Palms inward. Keep spreading them out slowly while wiggling your fingers until you can no longer see them wiggling in the corners of your eyes. That distance is about how wide the spectrum of your peripheral vision is.

Pretty wide, isn't it? Wider than you think?
Try pivoting a bit with your arms in the same position.

*(Translation, which I think would have worked beautifully for the film, is "Empty House," but they named the film 3-Iron in English instead for some reason.)
