The spaces in between u s.

I just noticed that because I usually type my entries here in the HTML editing box (so that I can make sure that the font codes don't get screwy like they've sometimes done), all of my post-period double-spaces have all been turning out single-spaced.

This sort of vexes me, but I admit it might be a bit more time-consuming than it's worth to revisit all the entries up until now and woodpecker the space bar in coordination with the movement of my cursor. I guess I'll just try to remember to type more text in the usual box now.

... Just pretend all those spaces are actually there. Meanwhile, this is a convenient time to bring up points of grammar and punctuation if you'd like.

I found you!

I read through your posts and decided this was definitely the one to comment on because I am very anti single space after periods. I appreciate the thought and effort you put into providing the adequate spacing, despite HTML disregarding multiple consecutive spaces.

Hey, Jason! Unfortunately, I only just now realized that I didn't set my blog to e-mail me when comments come, so I didn't see this until just now. Anyway, congratulations on finding me! It seems that very few have.

At any rate, do you know if there's some easy way to put in double spaces after periods in HTML? Typing    each time doesn't really appeal to me... But whenever I switch between the two, my extra spaces end up getting deleted. Alas, much.
