As part of her compliment, a cute Japanese foreign friend of mine told me today that I was very bright, meaning in personality and outward expression. I laughed and told her she always smiled cutely all the time and behaved very cutely (you really have no idea, she is prime example for the shy, bashful, "Kawaiiii!" Japanese girl behavior!). She shook her head after a moment's pause and told me no, she was dark. That I was a lot brighter, and she much darker. She's not dark in the moody sort at all, but rather just shy and delicate in her mien, perpetually smiling but quietly.
Isn't that interesting? Extroversion and Introversion portrayed as bright and dark. It makes sense, though is just a different view. Or maybe you don't think so at all.
By the way, I'm not really very extroverted :P . I think it just comes off that way sometimes.
