[Origami] - Bat

Looking through the folders on my computer, I realize I have remarkably few photos of my origami for as much as I've made over the years. I guess I should remember to take more.

At any rate, I'm starting off with this bat model that I've always really liked. In fact, I think there has yet to be a bat model that I've tried and liked more than this one.

It's a little messy, but I hope to fold another one some time with more careful folding. Primarily, the torso and neck would be more sturdily shaped. Otherwise, this is such a cool model...

Model:Bat, flying
Date completed:Spring 2008 (?)
Designer:Noboru Miyajima
Diagram:Noboru Miyajima's Origami Bat
Paper type:Some type of brown packing paper that came with a box of pullover jackets at a university bookstore... It's a bit "crunchy," but much thinner than normal Letter/A4 paper. Sorry I can't provide any more details!
Paper size:approx. 50cm x 50cm (?)
