Synapses

In partial regard to the previous post, I have very frequently wondered about how we consider ourselves going to sleep and having dreams, whereas, in reality, we might actually be the dream-counterparts of... someone else. Anyone else. Who knows who else?

And then sometimes, during moments like the one in the previous post, I like to pretend that the careful dividing boundary between their existence(s) and ours flickers here and there, and little zaps escape through, even if only for brief and fleeting moments, barely noticeable.

Maybe the counterpart links swap up constantly with and to no particular time frame, just in random patterns. Then that explains why some of us have "realistic" dreams at times, and others have fantastically based dreams, and why they are not always seen from the same point of view or are not of the same situations. If your dreams are always simply your own life, maybe it's one of two possibilities: Either the zaps don't bother traveling far from you, or you actually have a counterpart whose life matches yours just that precisely, by sheer coincidence.

Alright, I need to stop by the library to return some books now. Outside, it can't decide if it wants to rain or snow, make up your mind, Regensburg...
